Informative Speech
Well, like most people I get really nervous when I speak in front of others. My informative speech on gum didn't go as I had visioned it to be. I started to forget my information and stumbled over my words. So that is something I need to work on, not getting so nervous! I also need to work on keeping my hands at my side, eye contact, and not moving around. So, if I do these things and many other fixes, I hope my next speech will be better!

Briana! your speech was very interesting and i liked it so much! i could tell that you were a little nervous, but you didnt show it too much! i learned a lot of information about gum that i never even thought of! you did a great job! keep up th good work! :)
ReplyDeleteJust as Paige said, I was surprised when you stopped because you masked your nerves so well. I was impressed with the knowledge you had on your topic, and I could tell you felt prepared. "Ummm" is your filler word to avoid and be sure to be aware of what you are doing with your hands. Sometimes you were playing with your hair and then later you started gesturing with your note card. However, great presentation and keep up the work! :)

ReplyDeleteI was very interested in your speech Briana! Who knew that about gum?! Not me!! I for one could tell something was going on with you in your speech, well because I knew what was happening when you said you needed to stop. enough about that, you did amazing on your speech you hid your nervousness very well. I'm proud of you and how you got back up there and finished your speech! :)
ReplyDeleteI really liked your speech Briana! I thought that you made such a simple topic into something interesting! You knew your topic really well and you seemed pretty calm. I was surprised when you stopped your speech because you were doing so well! I thought it was pretty awesome that you went back up there and finished your speech even when you didn't have to!
